People getting their cheese fondue on. It is so yummy. I had two fondue pots going and we ate almost at it all!
We always have a "photo shoot" backdrop so every couple can take a picture in front of the Happy New Year sign. I got smart last year and didn't write the year on it, that way I can use it every year.:) One less thing to do. So here we are, boa and top hat included.
All the guys and their spiffy suits. Even Casey got dressed up! (He's come in jeans the past two years just to spite all of us.:)
The girls - all decked out.
Whitney and Abby. Beautiful ladies.
Darby, my ex-roommate from this summer. I love her. And her husband Wes in the background.:)
This is the original bunch. The couple on the right are the Russells, who now live in Nicaragua and the couple on the far left, Kenworthys, live in NYC. But these were the couples that helped start the tradition of the New Years Eve party and I love everyone of them.
Happy 2010!!!! New Years Eve kisses!
Kelly, a wonderful and dear friend, apparently didn't like having Eric taking her picture.:)
Every year I put confetti on the ceiling fan and when the ball drops and midnight hits, I turn it out and the confetti floats down on everyone. It's really fun, but horrendous to clean up. I find bits and pieces of confetti all throughout the year. Its a fun reminder of all the fun and excitement of a new year.
So fun.:) Until next year! Happy 2010!!
