Well, here are the two things we picked up at the flea market! I'm pretty excited about them! This little table was $25 but I got it for $20. Super sturdy, all wood, lots of detail, round and pedestal. Love it all. I've been looking for something just like this for this spot beside the couch and one of our leather chairs. The size and shape works perfect for the space.
I love the detailing.
This beveled mirror was onl $30 and it's HUGE
I am loving it. I really disliked the cast iron ornate huge thing that hung above the mantle. It came with the house, you can see it here. It was finally time to say goodbye.
Sorry it took me so long to get this up for you all to see. My work computer was being funny all week and I was just too lazy by the time I got home from work.:) Happy weekend!

So here's what I've been up to. Actually, these have been done for a while, I'm just lolly gagging on creating an Esty account and selling them. I LOVE cakestands, and giving lift to anything. All my makeup and perfume are on a cakestand, my sugar, splenda and coffee fixer uppers are on one, my camera's resting place in the kitchen has its own cakestand. I use them for SO many things besides cakes.:)
Stacking them is so fun and pretty.
But I wanted to give you a sneak peek of what I've created and what I am hoping to sell. They are all lovingly created and handpicked by me. Vintage and antique china, and also more modern pieces.
Now I'm getting hungry for cupcakes.:)
This one actually has 22 carat gold around the edges. Its such a dainty filigree design that is so pretty.
Annnd, to top it off for a lovely weekend, there are TWO GIVEAWAYS going on!!!:)

One over at Home & Harmony - some beautiful glasses of your choice. They are super cute!!! And the other at Ticking and Toile, for a copy of "At Home with Country" by Christina Strutt. Go check them out!

And have a lovely weekend! Eric and I going to hit up some garage sales and a flea market! Can't wait!:)

My house smells like new couch.:) Its SO amazing having a couch again and this one is FABULOUS!!! I couldn't seem to get off of it.:) Its so wide, so comfy, so squishy yet firm, and WHITE.:) Perfection.
I can't wait to get the rest of the furniture painted and brought inside. I did the coffee table and a small side table lastnight, I just have to varnish them before they are finished. Ahhhh, its finally coming together.
These are my new pillows!!! I made the stripped covers when my mom was out last month, and the small yellow ticking buttoned ones I got from Goodwill that had come straight from Target for $3 each!!
I'm so grateful for my new couch.:)
